MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT TECHNICIAN

Key Responsibilities Maintenance & Repair: Execute scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) and perform corrective repairs to minimize equipment downtime. Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical, pneumatic, or hydraulic faults using precision measuring and diagnostic tools. Assembly & Installation: Assemble, install, and calibrate new or relocated machinery according to engineering drawings and technical manuals. Compliance & Safety: Enforce Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) guidelines. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of equipment performance, maintenance activities, and spare parts inventory. Requirements Experience: 1–3 years of hands-on experience in equipment assembly, industrial machinery maintenance, or a related field. Skills: Strong blueprint/schematic reading, proficiency with hand/power tools, and basic troubleshooting capabilities.
