Tasks:

• Planning and procuring purchased parts and assemblies for production
• Creating and sending purchase requisitions, orders/framework calls, and processing order confirmations
• Monitoring and maintaining deadlines and stock levels
• Reminding of delivery backlogs and taking measures in case of disruptions
• Monitoring incoming goods and controlling incoming parts
• Reporting on material availability and demand forecasts for suppliers
• Negotiating with suppliers
• Processing technical changes in coordination with the specialist departments
• Carrying out logistics and IT projects such as consignment KANBAN, SCM, Bauhaus, optimization of transport costs

Requirements:

• Sound knowledge of SAP R3
• Commercial or technical vocational training or a successfully completed degree in mechanical engineering
• Experience in the automotive industry
• Experience in operational processes, product knowledge, and supplier capabilities
• English in spoken and written form
• Independent way of working
• Confident appearance and good communication skills, team player, reliable
