For operational purchasing, we are looking for a personality who understands procurement as more than just order processing: You keep an eye on delivery dates, manage material requirements, work closely with suppliers as well as internal specialist departments, and ensure that production is reliably supplied with the required components. Your area of responsibility - coordinate, manage, think ahead Procurement firmly under control: Independent order processing based on bills of materials, drawings, and framework agreements, as well as clarification of open specifications with the relevant interfaces Actively manage delivery dates: Checking order confirmations, consistent deadline monitoring, and direct coordination with suppliers Keep an eye on requirements, ensure supply: Independent disposition of material groups, proactive planning of delivery schedules and forecasts, as well as active management of incoming deliveries Resolve bottlenecks before they become critical: Active backlog and complaint management, coordination of follow-up and replacement deliveries, as well as timely escalation of critical supply situations Keep an eye on supplier performance: Evaluation of delivery performance, regular exchange with suppliers, and close cooperation with strategic purchasing regarding evaluations and improvement measures Reliably merge data & interfaces: Maintenance of procurement-relevant SAP master and disposition data, as well as coordination of drawings, bills of materials, and specifications, and temporal monitoring of approvals and initial sample inspections

Your profile – ready for more with initial experience Your basis: Completed commercial or technical training with further commercial training, e.g., as Industriekaufmann, Groß- und Außenhandelskaufmann, Technischer Fachwirt, or comparable qualification (m/f/d) Experience in purchasing: Initial professional experience in operational purchasing, ideally in a manufacturing industrial or mechanical engineering company Confident in the system: Experience with SAP is an advantage, but not a must Internationally positioned: Very good English skills for regular communication with international suppliers and contact persons Keep an overview: Structured, reliable, and proactive way of working, as well as strong communication skills and enjoyment of working with suppliers / internal specialist departments
