Your tasks
Install, configure, and maintain infrastructure components in a virtualized Linux environment. Fully manage the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of all aspects of Linux servers. Architect, install, configure, and optimize computing systems and networks in a Linux-based environment. Administer, troubleshoot, and resolve failures and critical alerts on Linux and Windows servers. Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Red Hat OpenShift clusters. Monitor cluster health and performance, and troubleshoot OpenShift, Linux, and networking issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science related discipline.
- 3+ years’ experience of hands-on OpenShift.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Patch and package administration.
- System backup and restore.
- Performance tuning.
- Knowledge of virtualization using VMware and Hyper-V.
- Experience with Red Hat Satellite.
- Preferred experience with Red Hat OpenShift.
- Basic knowledge of network technologies and protocols (switches).
- Working experience in Linux security (firewalld, SELinux, etc.).
- Red Hat Linux certification is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux system administration.
- Linux installation, software configuration, and network configuration.
- Fundamentals of Linux scripting languages.
- Working experience with storage under Linux (LVM, snapshot, iSCSI).
