Scholars International Language School is seeking to appoint an outstanding and motivated Science Teacher/HoD for the 2026/27 academic year. The successful candidate will deliver engaging Science lessons while providing effective leadership to the department, driving high standards of teaching, learning, and student achievement.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality Science lessons across the secondary phase.

Lead and develop the Science department, ensuring excellence in teaching and learning.

Monitor student progress and implement strategies to raise attainment.

Support curriculum planning, assessment, and departmental development.

Mentor colleagues and promote collaborative practice.

Contribute to the wider life of the school.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Science or a related field with a recognised teaching qualification.

Leadership experience or the potential to lead a department.

Strong organisational, communication, and classroom management skills.
