Responsibilities include:

Develop and deliver comprehensive music lessons tailored to various age groups and skill levels

Teach music theory, instrumental and vocal techniques, and encourage student creativity through individual and group performances

Organize and participate in school concerts, recitals, and other musical events

Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to promote continuous improvement

Collaborate with colleagues to integrate music with other subjects and school activities

Maintain an engaging and inclusive classroom environment that motivates students

Stay updated on best practices and advances in music education through professional development

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in music education, music performance, or a related field

A valid teaching certification and prior teaching experience are preferred

Proficiency in multiple musical instruments and a strong grasp of music theory

Ability to create innovative and engaging lesson plans adapted to diverse learners

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with students, parents, and staff

A passion for music education and commitment to fostering a positive learning environment

Willingness to contribute to extracurricular music activities and school events
