We are looking for a passionate educator who inspires students to develop a strong understanding and appreciation of mathematics, encourages logical and analytical thinking, and builds confidence in problem-solving. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a related field with recognised Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

A minimum of 2 years of successful teaching experience, preferably within an international British-curriculum context.

Strong knowledge and understanding of the UK National Curriculum for Mathematics.

Ability to deliver engaging, challenging, and differentiated Mathematics lessons across Key Stages.

Strong understanding of mathematical concepts and the ability to explain them clearly and effectively.

Ability to develop students’ problem-solving, reasoning, and analytical skills.

Experience in using a range of teaching strategies and resources to support different learning needs.

Skilled in positive behaviour management and in creating a respectful, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.

Strong organisational, communication, and collaboration skills.

Job Description

Plan and deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons aligned with National Curriculum objectives and school schemes of work.

Develop students’ mathematical knowledge, reasoning, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Inspire students to become confident and independent mathematical thinkers.

Provide differentiated learning opportunities that meet the needs and abilities of all students.

Use a variety of teaching strategies, resources, and appropriate technology to enhance learning.

Assess, monitor, and record student progress in line with school policies and use assessment information to inform future teaching.

Provide constructive feedback that supports students in identifying areas for improvement and achieving their learning goals.

Establish and maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and mathematical discussion.

Support students in preparing for internal and external assessments where applicable.

Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, cross-curricular initiatives, and whole-school projects.

Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress, achievement, and engagement.

Attend weekly CPD sessions and contribute actively to ongoing professional development.

Support school events and enrichment activities that promote mathematical understanding and a broad and balanced education.
