About Us Egis is an international player in consulting, construction engineering, and mobility services. We design and operate smart infrastructures and buildings that meet the challenges related to the climate emergency and enable more balanced, sustainable, and resilient land development. Present in 120 countries, Egis places the expertise of its 23,500 employees at the service of its clients and develops cutting-edge innovations accessible to all projects. Through the diversity of its fields of intervention, the Group is a key player in the collective organization of society and the living environment of citizens worldwide. Successfully achieving the alliance between improving the quality of life for populations, the economic and social development of territories, and massive decarbonization to meet the imperative of carbon neutrality in 2050 is our purpose. Within the Nuclear activity of the Egis group, the Industrial Architect role works with other disciplines (Civil Engineering, Works...) on activity projects requiring the coordination of several technical disciplines. The role operates on both the Bids and Business aspects of the activity.

Our projects involve nuclear installations (Reactors, Plants, Laboratories, ...) in France and internationally. They cover all issues related to nuclear installations (except those managed by our partners) from geotechnics, earthworks, VRD, structural works, secondary trades (Coating, Joinery, Insulation, waterproofing...) to technical trades (Electricity, Ventilation, Handling/Lifting).

The Industrial Architect role covers all phases of the project lifecycle, from feasibility to the execution and commissioning of the works.

Within a multidisciplinary team that includes experienced technical referents (Earthworks/VRD, Safety, TCE Design, Civil Engineering, Ventilation, Electricity, Constructability, ...), you will be supported by: -

a Digital team that develops and deploys digital tools in service of our projects, -

a PMO team that contributes to the smooth running of our projects. About the Role As a VRD/Earthworks engineer, you contribute to the analysis of implementation constraints (technical, cost, deadlines) and the determination of the best scenario, method, and means for preparing the VRD component in its technical entirety. Your missions will be as follows: Analyze and verify the consistency and completeness of input data, Propose general rules for earthworks and VRD operations based on specified requirements and applicable standards, Write technical notes (feasibility, preliminary design, ...) Contribute to the development of earthworks scenarios (excavation, soil management, embankment), Perform and/or prescribe studies for temporary and/or permanent support structures, Perform and/or prescribe dimensioning studies for networks, small hydraulic structures, diversions, and roads, Identify and manage interfaces (technical and scheduling) between services and construction contracts, Technical exchanges with the client, Exchanges with the project manager and the VRD referent on technical scenario, budget, schedule, risk, and strategy subjects. What do we need from you A graduate of an engineering school or a generalist or specialized university course (Civil Engineering, Geoscience...), you have a minimum of 5 years of experience in technical missions in the field of design and/or construction for infrastructure or industrial projects.

Mastery of technical English, both Written and Spoken, is essential. The expected skills and aptitudes are as follows: Technical Skills (Geotechnics, Earthworks, Networks, Roads, Safety notions, Structural works, Construction methods, Scheduling, ...) Knowledge of the sector's industrial fabric (suppliers, partners, ...), Knowledge of 3D tools (COVADIS indispensable, Mensura, Synchro PRO...), Analytical and synthesis skills, ability to detect important issues, Reactivity and ability to propose solutions to handle problems and anticipate difficulties, Ability to reconcile / arbitrate between different domains Communication with multiple stakeholders (Client, Builders, Engineers, ...) Internal training and/or mentoring may accompany you as part of your onboarding. Ideally, you have technical professional experience in the nuclear sector,
