Job Overview

Eggspectation is looking for a reliable and hardworking Breakfast Cook to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen, takes pride in food quality, and maintains a clean and organized workstation.

*Availability for early morning and day shifts, including weekends and holidays, is required.*

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures at all times.
• Read and follow recipes, prep sheets, and kitchen instructions accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized station using a "clean as you go" approach.
• Complete side duties efficiently throughout the shift.
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen team during busy service periods.
• Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation standards are met.

Qualifications

• Valid Food Handler Certificate (required).
• Previous restaurant or kitchen experience preferred.
• Ability to work well under pressure and handle sudden increases in volume.
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and attention to detail.
• Coachable, quick learner, and team-oriented.
• Reliable transportation and ability to commute to downtown Toronto for early morning shifts, including weekends.
