You are the link between the customer and the factory. You understand a technical drawing and you understand the customer's request. You prepare quotes, monitor delivery times, and ensure that every project runs smoothly from inquiry to invoice. Furthermore, you acquire business from existing and new customers. At EG Engineering, you do this for the production and overhaul of ball valves, valves, and pressure-retaining components in the oil, gas, and energy sectors. And for customers in many other industries.
This is your job
This is a role that contains everything. Technology, organization, coordination, ownership, and a bit of commerce. In this role, you are a multitasker and a polymath; an important cog in the organization of EG Engineering. The established ball valve specialist for the international market.
As Project engineer, you take ownership of the entire process: from acquisition and the initial customer request to the final delivery, including inspections and certification. No two inquiries are the same, as assembly, overhaul, and repair projects alternate. You work with a continuous flow of inquiries, you set priorities, and you keep multiple projects in the air at the same time. English is indispensable in this; German is a plus.
How the team works
As Project Engineer, you connect all internal links. You consult with the design engineer about technical feasibility and plan with production. You coordinate with the people from sister company Stara Hi-Tec regarding supplies. You assemble repair kits and purchase parts or have them manufactured.
Towards the customer, you are the face of EG Engineering. Integrity, clarity, reliability, and always solution-oriented.
