IT Infrastructure Engineer (m/f/d)

As an IT Infrastructure Engineer (m/f/d), you will take on a responsible role in the further development of modern IT infrastructures. In doing so, you will take care of servers, networks, and security solutions, analyze technical malfunctions, and participate in international IT projects.

For our location in Graz, we are looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer (m/f/d).

Activities

Further development and maintenance of modern IT infrastructures with on-premise and cloud components

Administration and further development of Microsoft 365 and Entra ID

Maintenance of Windows and Linux systems

Administration and optimization of server, network, and virtualization environments

Further development of backup, recovery, and patch management processes

Maintenance and further development of endpoint and cybersecurity solutions

Administration and monitoring of firewalls and network components

Analysis of security logs and support in the further development of IT security

Collaboration on international projects in the areas of cloud, network, infrastructure, and cybersecurity

Support for users in 2nd-level support

Profile

Completed technical training in the IT field (HTL, technical college, university degree, or comparable)

Several years of professional experience in the operation and further development of IT infrastructures

Good knowledge in the field of networks, especially VLANs, routing, and switching

Experience with virtualization solutions, ideally VMware

Sound knowledge in the operation of Microsoft server environments

Experience in the administration and configuration of firewalls, preferably Fortinet

Knowledge in the field of IT security and cybersecurity

Good MS-Office skills

Good English skills
