VAT Senior Manager

cer Financial are working alongside an accounting firm, who are based in London. They are seeking a VAT Senior Manager, to work with them on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities:

• Provide VAT advice across a broad range of matters, including specialist technical VAT assignments.
• Lead VAT due diligence projects and manage a portfolio of clients.
• Take responsibility for delivering high-quality client service, meeting expectations around quality, service and cost.
• Work closely with Partners and Directors across VAT and other service lines.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and generate additional fees from existing clients.
• Support business development and go-to-market activities across the region.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and act as a trusted adviser.
• Oversee and support junior team members in delivering a pipeline of advisory work.
• Help develop and grow the VAT team, including coaching and developing junior practitioners.
• Continue developing your own technical VAT expertise and knowledge.

The candidate:

• Strong VAT technical and advisory experience.
• Experience at Manager/Associate Director level.
• Proven business development and client management skills.
