Exciting opportunity with a well known city based insurance business. This is a broad, hands on Contract role, visible across the business. In the role you will provide high-quality management and financial reporting as well as supporting process improvement. Duties will include: Ownership of IFRS 17, IFRS 4 and UK GAAP Technical Close Process Provide accurate and timely management and financial information Quarterly IFRS 17, IFRS 4 and UK GAAP Closing pack production for Group Reporting Perform analysis of movements in IFRS 17 balances. Assist with external audit matters Assist with the population of technical memorandums Profile: Qualified Accountant Strong Insurance accounting experience Involvement in the Technical close process of a general Insurer. Knowledge of IFRS17 - Either implementation or BAU reporting experience Analytical and MI Reporting Skills
