Octavius Finance is working with boutique investment firms seeking talented PMs to grow their liquid absolute return businesses. Selected APMs ready to take greater ownership of a strategy may also be considered.

Your tasks

?? Run, develop and grow your own investment strategy or product

?? Agree risk parameters suited to your investment approach

?? Partner with an established capital-raising team

?? Build within a business taking a long-term view of your strategy

Requirements

?? PMs with a demonstrable absolute return track record in long/short equity or discretionary macro

?? Selected APMs with clear investment attribution and readiness to run a strategy

?? A robust, repeatable investment process

?? Strategies with potential capacity of approximately $750m–$1bn

?? A desire to build a lasting investment business and engage with investors as assets grow

What we offer

These opportunities offer an initial capital allocation, alongside support to build assets from there. The firms begin fundraising from the outset, pay the PM during the build phase and underwrite the strategy’s operating costs until it becomes profitable.
