Senior Python Engineers - Trading & Risk Up to £700 per day

About the company

It’s shaping up to be a great time to be a Python developer! We’re working on multiple contract opportunities within leading financial services environments, spanning trading, risk and full-stack engineering.

Your tasks

The opportunities We’re looking for experienced Python engineers to work across a range of projects, including:

1. Trading Systems: Developing and enhancing applications supporting trading workflows and financial markets.
2. Risk Engineering: Building backend services and distributed systems for risk data processing, analytics and reporting.
3. Full-Stack Development: Building scalable applications across backend services, APIs and frontend technologies.
4. Financial Platforms: Improving business-critical systems, data processing pipelines and enterprise-grade applications.

Requirements

If you have extensive Python development experience and a background in high-performance trading or financial services environments, we’d love to hear from you.

1. Extensive commercial Python development experience.
2. Experience within financial services, ideally investment banking, trading or risk.
3. Strong backend engineering and API development skills.
4. Experience with SQL, data processing and scalable systems.
5. The ability to work with technical and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.

1. Rates of up to £700 per day.
2. London-based opportunities with hybrid working arrangements.
3. Contract positions, with Inside IR35 arrangements depending on the role.
