Role: Senior AI Engineer – Python

Location: London (Hybrid)

Compensation: Up To £700/Day Outside IR35

Overview

We’re partnering with a leading, technology-driven organisation looking to expand its AI engineering capabilities. You’ll work on turning advanced AI and machine learning concepts into robust, production-ready solutions that solve real business problems. This is a hands-on opportunity to build impactful systems using modern AI technologies, with a strong focus on delivering solutions that are scalable, reliable and ready for real-world use.

What You’ll Do

• Design and develop AI-powered applications, intelligent workflows and machine learning solutions using Python and modern AI frameworks.
• Take solutions from initial concept through to deployment, ensuring they meet the standards required for enterprise production environments.
• Build and evaluate models using real-world data, incorporating testing, monitoring and performance improvements throughout the development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to identify opportunities for AI adoption and deliver practical, high-impact solutions.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong commercial Python engineering experience, with a track record of delivering AI or machine learning solutions into production.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, agentic frameworks, AI orchestration and model evaluation.
• Solid machine learning fundamentals, including model development, training, evaluation and monitoring.
• Experience building AI solutions within complex environments, with an understanding of production readiness, governance and ongoing model reliability.
