About the company

The Opportunity We are supporting a leading insurance organisation that requires an experienced Senior Accountant to join their Group Financial Reporting team on an initial contract through to the end of January. This role will focus on BAU reporting activities, group consolidation and regulatory reporting within a complex financial services environment.

Your tasks

• Support Group Financial Reporting activities across the organisation.
• Lead and manage group consolidation processes and month-end reporting.
• Prepare and review financial reports in accordance with IFRS standards.
• Support Solvency II reporting requirements and regulatory submissions.
• Contribute to IFRS17 reporting and implementation activities where required.
• Ensure reporting deadlines are achieved accurately and efficiently.
• Partner with internal finance stakeholders to maintain reporting integrity and compliance.
• Assist with year-end and quarter-end reporting cycles.

Requirements

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant with strong insurance sector experience who can quickly integrate into a high-performing finance team and add value from day one.

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Proven experience within the Insurance or Life Insurance sector.
• Strong Group Financial Reporting background.
• Demonstrable group consolidation experience.
• Working knowledge of Solvency II reporting.
• IFRS17 experience is essential.
• Able to operate effectively in a fast-paced reporting environment.
