An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant to join a growing Aerospace & Defence manufacturing group in North Bristol.

This is a great time to join the business. With an ambitious acquisition-led growth strategy, further acquisitions planned and significant investment in systems and automation, the finance function is evolving rapidly, and this role will evolve with it.

Your tasks

*You'll have the opportunity to*

• Take real ownership of management accounting, reporting and financial analysis
• Gain exposure to acquisitions, integration and group finance
• Work across multiple businesses and manufacturing environments
• Get involved in automation, systems integration and process improvement
• Influence how the finance function develops as the group grows
• Work closely with senior stakeholders and gain broad commercial exposure
• Develop your career with a genuine opportunity to progress into a Finance Manager role within 2-3 years

This isn't a role where you'll simply inherit a fixed job description. The business is growing, the finance function is developing and there's plenty of scope to make your mark and take on more responsibility.

Requirements

We're looking for a hands-on Management Accountant, ideally with experience in manufacturing, Aerospace & Defence or a similarly operational environment. Relevant experience is key, and professional studies such as CIMA, ACCA or ACA would be advantageous.
