Futures Business Solutions Operations Manager, Vice President - Macquarie Group

What role will you play?

Reporting to the Commodities and Global Markets Futures EMEA Head of Clearing, you will lead the regional Business Solutions agenda, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, controls and client outcomes. Working closely with senior business leaders, Operations, Technology, Compliance and external market infrastructures, you will shape and deliver strategic initiatives across data governance, account onboarding, exchange product setup, fee management and operational processes. Through automation and process improvement, you will influence the evolution of technology platforms and help ensure a robust operating model as markets and regulatory requirements evolve. As a senior member of the team, you will also lead the resolution of significant operational issues, strengthen risk and control frameworks, and support the development and knowledge sharing of colleagues while collaborating with teams globally.

What you offer

• At least 10 years' experience within Exchange Traded Derivatives or listed markets, with strong knowledge of European futures and commodities markets and experience leading a team.
• A proven track record of delivering business change and operational transformation, including managing multiple strategic initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of risk, controls and governance, together with experience supporting exchange onboarding, clearing connectivity, regulatory reporting and market structure change.
• Experience in data governance, automation, workflow tools and process digitisation, with the ability to translate business needs into clear functional and technical requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with effective communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
