About the Role

The Events Executive delivers high-quality events webinars and video content that engages clients and professional intermediaries that strengthens the brand and supports agreed commercial and marketing priorities. Working within the Marketing team, the role owns the end-to-end delivery of allocated events, webinars, podcasts and video content, from brief and planning through to live delivery, follow-up and evaluation. Activity must be delivered to agreed standards, deadlines and budgets, with appropriate brand, regulatory, risk, data protection, accessibility and health and safety controls. This is a hands-on role for someone who combines strong organisation skills with sound judgement, communicates confidently with a wide range of stakeholders and can manage several workstreams and deadlines in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
Key responsibilities
Events management
- Own the delivery plan and attendee journey for allocated webinars, seminars, conferences, networking events, sponsorship activations and hospitality programmes.
- Manage invitations, registration, attendee communications and post-event follow-up, ensuring accurate data and a consistent client experience.
- Translate agreed objectives into clear briefs, formats, agendas, timelines, budgets and measures of success.
- Coordinate venues, speakers, suppliers, technical requirements, accessibility arrangements and event materials.
- Ensure collateral and communications are accurate, on brand and approved through the relevant financial promotions and governance processes before release.
- Monitor agreed performance measures, including registration and attendance, attendee feedback, engagement, cost and follow-up activity; provide timely insight and recommendations.
- Coordinate agreed promotional activity across email, social media, website and other digital channels, ensuring consistency with the event brief and approved messaging.
- Apply relevant regulatory, risk, data protection, accessibility, health and safety, hospitality and supplier controls, maintaining approval records and escalating any potential breach promptly.
Webinars, podcasts and video
Manage the end-to-end production and delivery of allocated webinars, including:
- Platform set-up and registration management
- Speaker coordination and briefing
- Rehearsals and technical run-throughs
- Live event support and moderation
- Recording, editing coordination and post-event communications
- Manage the production workflow for allocated podcasts and video content, covering briefing, scheduling, contributor preparation, recording, post-production, approval and publication.
- Edit straightforward audio and video content where appropriate or commission and quality-check internal teams and external suppliers for more complex work.
- Publish and distribute approved recorded content through agreed platforms and channels, ensuring captions or transcripts and contributor permissions are in place where required.
- Maintain an organised, accessible library of final assets and source files, with clear naming, version control and usage rights.
Marketing operations and commercial management
- Maintain an integrated calendar of event and production activity, dependencies and key deadlines.
- Manage suppliers, agencies and production partners against agreed briefs, service standards, costs and timelines.
- Obtain and compare quotations, coordinate purchase orders and contracts, reconcile invoices and maintain accurate budget forecasts.
- Contribute to other agreed marketing priorities where these are consistent with the purpose and capacity of the role.

About You
Skills and experience
Essential
Practical experience delivering events or multimedia content from brief through to evaluation.
- Evidence of delivering webinars, virtual events, podcasts or video content and coordinating the people, technology and approvals involved.
- Evidence of producing accurate plans, communications and records while managing detailed delivery requirements.
- Ability to prioritise and deliver several projects and competing deadlines, identifying dependencies and escalating risks early.
- Evidence of building effective working relationships with stakeholders, suppliers and external partners.
- Ability to produce clear, accurate written communications and adapt verbal messages for different audiences.
- Ability to follow approval and governance processes, maintain auditable records and escalate risks appropriately.
