Equity Trade Operations Analyst | Leading Buyside Investment Manager | London

We are working with a leading global buyside investment manager to recruit an experienced Equity Trade Operations Analyst to join its growing operations function.

This is a hands-on role within a global team, focused on trade exception management, settlement and operational problem-solving across global equity markets .

The role:

• Manage and resolve complex trade and operational exceptions across global equity markets.
• Oversee trade confirmation, processing, settlement and claims.
• Act as a subject matter expert within your area of responsibility.
• Work closely with Trading, Operations, Legal & Compliance, vendors and other stakeholders to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
• Analyse problems, identify root causes and implement practical solutions.
• Identify and drive process improvements and operational efficiencies .
• Take ownership of projects and process changes where required.
• Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders and explain the underlying issues and solutions.

What we're looking for:

• Strong experience within equity trade operations / investment operations .
• Solid understanding of the trade lifecycle, settlement and exception management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working across global teams and with senior stakeholders.
• A proactive approach, with the ability to take ownership and drive issues through to resolution.
• Someone who enjoys improving processes rather than simply maintaining them.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
