A leading global technology consultancy is seeking a Cyber Security Architect to join its growing security architecture team. You'll help shape secure solutions for complex, high-profile technology transformation programmes across enterprise IT and operational technology environments. This opportunity suits an experienced Security Architect or a technical specialist with strong security expertise looking to move into architecture.
The role
Work alongside technical and solution architects to define security architectures. Apply threat modelling to identify threats and establish security requirements. Manage security requirements throughout the delivery and operational lifecycle. Advise on risk mitigation, security controls and secure system design. Collaborate with assurance and penetration testing teams to validate the effectiveness of security controls. Communicate technical risks and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
About you
You'll bring strong technical security experience in at least one of the following areas:
- IP networking and operational technology.
- On-premises infrastructure and virtualisation.
- Cloud platforms and containerisation.
- Databases and large language models.
- Mobile technologies and application security.
You'll also have experience with threat modelling, security requirements and frameworks such as NIST, ISO or CIS. Knowledge of protective monitoring, authentication and authorisation best practices will be valuable. Strong communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills are essential. Previous employment as a Security Architect is desirable, but technical specialists with a strong focus on security are encouraged to apply.
Salary and benefits
Salary up to £84,000, dependent on experience.

Security clearance requirements
Due to a specific client requirement, applicants must hold a British passport and have no dual nationality at the point of application. Any offer is subject to satisfactory BPSS checks and SC security clearance. This typically requires five years of continuous UK address history, usually with no periods of 30 consecutive days or more spent outside the UK.
