We’re looking for a high-calibre C++ Engineer to join our technology team at a leading market making firm.

This is a hands-on engineering role focused on building and optimising the infrastructure that connects our trading systems directly to global financial markets.

What you’ll be doing

  • Designing and developing low-latency C++ systems for electronic trading
  • Building and maintaining exchange connectivity and market access infrastructure
  • Working with exchange protocols, binary feeds and order-entry gateways
  • Optimising networking, latency, throughput and system performance
  • Troubleshooting complex production issues across the trading stack
  • Working closely with traders, quantitative researchers and infrastructure engineers
  • Integrating with major exchanges and liquidity venues globally

What we’re looking for

  • Strong modern C++ engineering experience
  • Proven experience in market access, exchange connectivity or electronic trading
  • Deep understanding of exchange protocols and order-book mechanics
  • Experience with FIX, binary protocols and/or proprietary exchange APIs
  • Strong knowledge of Linux, networking and systems programming
  • Understanding of low-latency techniques, performance optimisation and concurrency
  • Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly performance-sensitive environment

Particularly valuable

Experience with kernel/network optimisation, NICs, multicast, TCP/UDP, packet processing, FPGA acceleration or colocation environments would be highly advantageous.

If you’re a C++ engineer who understands not just how to write fast software, but how electronic markets actually connect and operate, we’d like to hear from you.
