Our search is oriented towards Civil Engineers, Mining Engineers, or related fields with a minimum of 15 years of experience in similar positions in the mining industry, Oil & Gas, or heavy construction works.
Their main responsibilities will be:
- Lead the development and maintain the project master schedule, integrating the schedules and details of the project team, contractors, and suppliers.
- Lead the development, analysis, and maintenance of the detailed schedule, ensuring it aligns with the project and company management strategy.
- Supervise and ensure the weekly update of progress curves and the bi-weekly schedule, ensuring the quality of information.
- Early identification of deviations from the baseline schedule, evaluating actions to mitigate or optimize said deviations, continuously supporting project change management.
- Control of physical progress and its performance and integration into the schedule, using physical credit rules and installed quantities to control contracts and the project.
- Continuous analysis of critical paths, trends, and scenarios to identify and manage negative and positive risks for the project.
- Guarantee compliance with the planning and control standards, policies, and procedures of the company and the contractors.
- Lead planning teams, promoting the application of best practices and standards of the area.
- Act as backup for the PCM, ensuring continuity of team leadership and compliance with policies, procedures, and standards during their absence.
Requirements:
- Advanced English proficiency
- Proficiency in Office and Primavera
- Desirable certifications: PMP, PMP-SP, AACEI PSP, AACEI CCP, AACEI EVM
- Availability to work on a mining roster
