Cost Leader

Our search is oriented towards professionals graduated in Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mining Engineering, Bachelor's in Business Administration, Public Accountant or related careers, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in similar positions within the mining industry, Oil & Gas or heavy works construction.

Their main responsibilities will be:

• Lead the development and maintain the project CAPEX, integrating it with the WBS indicated with the approved scope.
• Lead the development, analysis, and maintenance of cost control, ensuring it aligns with the strategy of the project and company management.
• Early identification of deviations against the baseline budget, evaluating prevention, mitigation, and optimization actions for said deviations, continuously supporting the project change management.
• Prepare and update monthly forecasts, ensuring their timeliness and accuracy with the conditions and trends of the project and the market.
• Continuous analysis of costs, trends, and scenarios, to identify and manage positive and negative risk for the project.
• Guarantee compliance with standards, policies, and cost and change management procedures of the same company and of the contractors.
• Lead the cost team, managing best practices and standards of the area.
• Keep the change management register and flow updated, ensuring that changes are identified, evaluated, and managed in a timely manner, in coordination with the project risk plan.

Requirements:

• Advanced English proficiency
• Proficiency in Office, SAP
• Desirable certifications: PMP, PMP-SP, AACEI PSP, AACEI CCP, AACEI EVM
• Availability to travel to the project occasionally.
