Your tasks

Purpose of the Role To comprehensively lead the company's commercial strategy, ensuring profitable growth, the conversion of B2B opportunities, and strict compliance with commercial budgets through structured, measurable, and in-person leadership.

Main Functions

• Design, implement, and monitor the commercial strategy and budget by executive, zone, and service line.
• Perform rigorous follow-up on the sales pipeline, conversion rate, and corporate closings.
• Direct and develop the sales force through coaching, accompaniment in appointments, and objective measurement by KPIs.
• Work in transversal synergy with Pricing, Customer Service (KAM), and Operations to optimize rates and guarantee excellence in service.
• Promote cross-selling of related services in existing accounts and key prospects within the industrial and commercial sectors.

Requirements

Requirements and Suitability

• Academic Background: Professional in Foreign Trade, International Business, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Marketing, or Logistics. Postgraduate studies in commercial or logistics areas are desirable.
• Specific Experience (Indispensable): Minimum 5 years in the Freight Forwarding / International Freight Forwarding Agencies sector, including at least 2 to 3 years in directorial or commercial management positions.
• Technical Knowledge: Proven mastery in ocean freight, air freight, OTM, insurance, customs brokerage, land transport, and warehouses.
• Languages: English level B2 (upper-intermediate) for relationship management with suppliers, shipping lines, and overseas agents.
• Commercial Focus: Indispensable mindset oriented toward field prospecting, margin/profitability analysis, pipeline management, forecast, and management indicators.

• Vehicle Allowance: $2.500.000 COP
• Commissions for Budget Compliance
• 100% compliance: 3.0% commission
• 80% - 99.9% compliance: 1.0% commission
• 70% - 79.9% compliance: 0.50% commission

• Location: Cali (In-person with availability for commercial travel).
• Contract Type: Indefinite Term Contract directly with the company.
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, full-time (with availability for client attention and visits).
