Operational Buyer (m/f/d) (Buyer)

Job Description

• Responsibility for inventory management and timely procurement of series material
• Monitoring and tracking of delivery dates and open orders
• Central interface for delivery-related issues in the procurement of direct material
• Determination and optimization of stock levels to ensure material supply
• Early detection and management of material shortages
• Preparation and support of Shopfloor-Meetings as well as escalation of missing parts
• Maintenance and monitoring of planning master data in the ERP-System
• Independent communication and escalation to suppliers regarding requirements, forecasts, delivery times, and priorities
• Coordination with internal departments to ensure uninterrupted material supply

Job Requirements

• Completed commercial training, ideally as Industriekaufmann/-frau, with further training as Fachwirt or Betriebswirt
• Alternatively, a completed degree in the field of Economics, Business Administration, or comparable
• Several years of professional experience in purchasing, material planning, or procurement logistics
• Experience in inventory management and supplier management
• Proficient use of MS Office and ERP-Systemen
• Good English skills in speaking and writing
• Strong communication skills, commitment, and assertiveness
• Independent, structured, and team-oriented way of working
