Purchasing & R&D Support Technician M/F

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Concretely, what will you do? Regarding the purchasing and procurement part:

• You will take charge of the purchases necessary for development projects, prototypes, and laboratory tests;
• You will consult suppliers, prepare requests for quotation, and compare proposals;
• You will create and track orders in SAP;
• You will monitor deadlines and follow up with suppliers when necessary;
• You will participate in simple exchanges and negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors;
• You will contribute to identifying new partners to expand prototyping possibilities;
• You will anticipate potential supply risks in order to secure project progress.

Purchases may concern machined metal parts and various components as well as laboratory equipment or even processing services. Regarding the R&D Support part:

• You will create and update articles, references, and associated information in Teamcenter and SAP;
• You will ensure the quality and consistency of technical data and bills of materials;
• You will support the processes for creating and modifying articles with the various departments concerned;
• You will ensure the availability of information necessary for the engineering teams;
• You will participate in the administrative follow-up and reporting of the R&D department.

REQUIRED PROFILE:

With a Bac+2 to Bac+3 degree in purchasing, logistics, industrial management, administration, or a technical environment, you ideally have an initial experience of 1 to 5 years in an industrial setting. Experience in purchasing, procurement, technical administration, or R&D support will be particularly relevant. Knowledge of SAP and/or a PLM such as Teamcenter is a plus, as is your ease with Microsoft 365 and Power Automate. You are able to operate in an international professional environment and communicate in English. Above all, you are rigorous, organized, reactive, and autonomous. You enjoy coordinating multiple subjects, interacting with various stakeholders, and seeking out information.
