We are looking for an enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Eetcafé de Boerderij on Ameland. Whether you are looking for a position for a few months or a long-term stay, both options are available. What Will You Do?
As a Kitchen Assistant, you will help our chefs keep the kitchen running smoothly. Your main duties include:
- Helping with basic food preparation
- Washing dishes and kitchen equipment
- Keeping the kitchen and work areas clean and organised
- Preparing ingredients and supplies for service
- Assisting chefs during busy lunch and dinner services
- Unpacking and storing deliveries
- Taking care of general kitchen cleaning
- Supporting your team wherever needed
No professional chef experience required-we are looking for someone motivated, reliable, and ready to work as part of a team!

Eetcafé de Boerderij is a modern and lively restaurant located in an authentic old farmhouse in the village of Ballum on Ameland, one of the Dutch Wadden Islands. We serve lunch, dinner, and drinks to both tourists and local guests.
