Design Office Manager M/F

The CTR (Conception Tuyauteries Robinetterie) department is responsible for the detailed studies of the piping for the nuclear island part of an EPR-type nuclear power plant. It also prescribes and monitors studies and the procurement of Piping and Valve equipment.

What we can accomplish together:

Within the CTR department, the Piping Design groups have the mission, depending on the project they belong to:

• Carrying out design studies for the piping of a nuclear island and its associated supports in the PDMS/E3D model
• Various studies for feasibility analysis of modifications
• Preparation of various reports extracted from the PDMS/E3D model
• Management of Bill of Quantities and Bill of Materials to supply procurement contracts

Within the CTR department, you will be integrated into the Piping Design group and will be in charge of the following missions:

• Coordinating the activity of the designers
• Pre-analyzing the impact of piping modifications, in connection with other disciplines
• Participating in various model reviews with the General Installation teams
• Participating in consistency reviews between different engineering documents: P&ID, Plans, Model...
• Establishing the level 5 schedule
• Participating in recruitment
• Driving the skill development of the Design Office

This position will be an opportunity for you to develop your knowledge in the field of design.

If we were talking about you:

• You hold a BAC+2/+3 degree in industrial/mechanical product design
• You have at least 10 years of experience as a mechanical 3D Designer
• Ideally, you are experienced in the field of piping design, valves, or mechanical equipment.
• You have the rigor necessary to manage high-stakes subjects, and you enjoy working in a highly interfaced environment.
• You are recognized for your organization, rigor, and technical appetite.
• You possess good interpersonal skills, an analytical mind, and synthesis skills
• You possess a level of technical English
