Part time English teacher

We are looking for a responsible and professional part-time tutor/teacher to teach primary school students at our centre.

• Location: Ang Mo Kio
• Working Hours:

Tuesday: 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm Wednesday: 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm Friday: 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm Sunday: 9:00am-12:00pm

Job Responsibilities

• Tutor and guide primary school students in English .
• Help students build a strong foundation in English .
• Teach key English skills, including composition writing, cloze passages, comprehension, grammar, and vocabulary .
• Explain why an answer is correct or incorrect , rather than simply providing the answers.
• Teach students effective strategies and techniques for tackling different types of English questions.
• Encourage good study habits and maintain a positive and supportive learning environment .

Teaching Materials

All teaching materials and worksheets will be provided by the centre .

Requirements

• Responsible, patient, and enjoys working with children.
• Able to teach Primary English confidently and effectively .
• Able to explain concepts clearly and help students understand the reasoning behind answers.
• Prior tutoring or teaching experience is an advantage, but not essential.
• A-Level graduates, Polytechnic students, and University students are welcome to apply.
• We also need one teacher who can teach phonics
