Deputy Head of Early Intervention Programme (EIP)

We are seeking apassionate and organised  Deputy Head of Early Intervention Programme(EIP)  to support the leadership and operations of our EIP. The role involvesoverseeing student support services, curriculum coordination, parent   engagement, team mentoring, and programme development to ensurehigh-quality inclusive education for students with diverse learning needs.

Lead the day-to-day operations and delivery of theEarly Intervention Programme (EIP), ensuring high-quality programmeimplementation and student support.

Oversee student placement, class allocation,Individualised Education Plans (IEPs), progress monitoring and appropriatelearning and behavioural support.

Work closely with teachers, therapists and otherprofessionals to support students with diverse learning needs.

Support curriculum development, inclusive educationpractices and continuous improvement of the EIP.

Build strong relationships with parents andfamilies, providing guidance on student placement, progress and programmesupport.

Lead, coach and develop teaching and non-teachingstaff through regular feedback, classroom observations, performance reviews andprofessional development.

Manage staffing requirements, staff deployment andrecruitment in collaboration with HR.

Ensure programme documentation, student records andreporting are accurate and completed in a timely manner.

Ensure the programme remains aligned with relevant ECDA requirements, guidelines and standards, including required documentation,submissions and audit support.

Support programme development, new initiatives andoperational improvements as required.

Requirements

• Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education, Psychology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years ofrelevant experience in Special Education/Early Intervention, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Demonstratedexperience working with children with special needs, developmental delays orlearning difficulties.
• Good understandingof Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), student support and inclusiveeducation practices.
• Familiarity withrelevant ECDA requirements and Early Intervention practices in Singapore wouldbe an advantage.
• Strong leadership,communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead anddevelop a team and collaborate effectively with families and multidisciplinaryprofessionals.
• Proactive,compassionate and committed to supporting children with diverse learning needsand promoting inclusive education.
