Part-Time Preparatory Math Teacher (2027)

Edufarm Learning Centre is looking for a passionate and dedicated Preparatory Math Teacher for our 2027 classes to help young learners build a strong foundation in Mathematics and prepare for Primary 1. We welcome MOE-trained teachers and experienced tutors who are familiar with the Singapore education system. Candidates with an Early Childhood Education qualification or experience teaching preschool-aged children will have an added advantage. Key Responsibilities Teach preparatory Mathematics to young learners preparing for Primary 1.

Help students develop essential numeracy, problem-solving, and mathematical thinking skills.

Follow the provided teaching materials and lesson plans.

Create an engaging, supportive, and age-appropriate learning environment.

Monitor students’ progress and provide feedback where necessary.

Requirements Minimum Diploma qualification with good academic results.

MOE-trained teachers or candidates with relevant tutoring or teaching experience are preferred.

Familiarity with the Singapore Mathematics curriculum is an advantage.

A background in Early Childhood Education, such as an Early Childhood Education diploma or relevant teaching experience, is preferred.

Patient, enthusiastic, and able to engage young learners effectively.

Must be eligible to work in Singapore.

Target learners: K2 students

Teaching materials: Provided by Edufarm Learning Centre

Class duration: One hour per week

Schedule: Weekday afternoon, subject to class availability

Class size: Min. of 5 students and max. of 12 students
