Primary Teacher – Hertfordshire Location: Hertfordshire and surrounding areas

Salary: £35,602 – £54,328 per annum, dependent on experience Start Date: ASAP

We are working in partnership with a range of friendly and inclusive primary schools across Hertfordshire , who are looking to appoint enthusiastic Primary Teachers to join their teams.

The Role

As a Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, creative and inclusive lessons that meet the needs of all pupils within your class.

You will work closely with Teaching Assistants and the wider school team to create a positive classroom environment where pupils feel supported, motivated and encouraged to succeed.

Key responsibilities include:

• Planning and delivering engaging and well-structured lessons
• Differentiating teaching and learning to meet a range of abilities and needs
• Creating a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
• Monitoring, assessing and recording pupil progress
• Setting appropriate learning objectives and supporting pupils to achieve their potential
• Building positive and professional relationships with pupils
• Managing classroom behaviour positively, consistently and effectively
• Working closely with Teaching Assistants and colleagues to support pupil learning
• Communicating effectively with parents and carers where appropriate
• Contributing to the wider life of the school and school community

About You

The successful candidate will be:

• A qualified teacher with relevant primary teaching experience
• Passionate about teaching and supporting children's learning and development
• Confident delivering engaging and creative lessons
• Able to differentiate effectively to meet individual learning needs
• Confident managing classroom behaviour in a positive and consistent manner
• Patient, enthusiastic and nurturing
• Able to build strong relationships with pupils, colleagues and families
• Organised, reliable and committed to providing high-quality teaching
• Keen to contribute positively to the wider life of the school

Previous experience working within a primary school setting is essential, and experience within the relevant year group would be advantageous.
