IT Technician

Location: South Buckinghamshire Salary: £28K neg Pro Rata Contract: 1-2 months initially We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic IT Technician to join our school ICT team. You will provide day-to-day technical support to staff and students, helping to ensure the smooth operation of the school's IT systems and classroom technology. Key Responsibilities: Respond to IT support requests via ticket, email, and telephone. Troubleshoot basic hardware, software, printing, and network issues. Set up and maintain PCs, laptops, tablets, and other devices. Support both Microsoft 365 and Google Education user accounts, passwords, and access requests. Assist with classroom technology, interactive displays, and AV equipment. Install software updates and maintain IT equipment records. Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when required. Deliver excellent customer service to staff and students. What We're Looking For: Good knowledge of Windows and Microsoft 365 of Google Chromebooks Strong problem-solving and communication skills. A customer-focused approach with a willingness to learn. An enhanced DBS check, ideally on the update service.
