We are seeking a dependable and experienced *Heavy Haul Float Driver* to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for safely transporting heavy equipment (such as construction machinery) to and from job sites using float trailers. If you?ve got a strong work ethic, solid driving record, and experience with oversized loads, we want to hear from you.

*Key Responsibilities*

• Safely load, transport, and unload heavy equipment using float trailers
• Ensure securement of loads in compliance with regulations and safety standards
• Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections of truck and equipment
• Maintain accurate logbooks, trip reports, and required documentation
• Coordinate with dispatch and customers to ensure timely and efficient deliveries
• Adhere to all highway traffic and safety regulations
• Conduct basic maintenance and report any mechanical issues with the vehicle
• Operate equipment during loading/unloading as needed

*Requirements*

• Valid Driver's Licence (Class 1 or A), Air Brake (Z) Endorsement, Commercial Vehicle Operator's Registration (CVOR) Certificate, Commercial Driver Registration Program (CDRP) Card.
• 3 to 5 years experience with float trailers and hauling oversized or heavy equipment
• Clean driver?s abstract and CVOR (or equivalent)
• Ability to operate and load heavy equipment (e.g. excavators, bulldozers, etc.)
• Strong understanding of load securement and transport regulations
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
• Good communication and time management skills
• Flexibility to work various hours and respond to urgent hauls when required
• Documentation Knowledge: E- log, Bill of lading, Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip), Maintenance and repair reports, Trip reports, Accident or incident reports, Dangerous goods occurrence reports.
