The opportunity
The EDF Group is about to make history with the largest global investment in EPR2 technology. As we advance the HPC project in the United Kingdom, France is ready to lead the way with the construction of six advanced reactors in Penly, Gravelines, and Bugey in the coming years. Through our Project Bridge initiative, we are fostering international skill transfers between the United Kingdom and France.
The VIE program offers a unique opportunity for recently graduated technicians to join the largest construction site in Europe and acquire the necessary skills to help us with the construction of EPR2s in France.
You will be immersed in the HPC project for 1 year, directly on-site or in our offices located in Bridgwater or Bristol. After this year, the goal is to offer you an opportunity to join EDF in France on the EPR2 project in Penly or Gravelines. This is therefore a unique opportunity to be part of a program that allows you to develop skills that you can transpose to EPR2 projects.
About HPC
HPC is the construction site of 2 nuclear reactors, the first of a new generation of nuclear power plants in the United Kingdom, which will provide low-carbon electricity to approximately six million homes.
Position:
The VIE will join the Programme Integration team, responsible for monitoring and coordinating material flows between the various project stakeholders and the HPC construction site. He/She will contribute to data reliability and performance monitoring to ensure the availability and delivery of materials in accordance with project needs.
Missions:
- Analyze data relating to materials, stocks, locations, and delivery times.
- Identify and resolve data or process anomalies in the materials management systems.
- Maintain and improve reporting and performance monitoring tools.
- Analyze errors and discrepancies to identify their causes and propose improvement actions.
- Contribute to the reliability of data related to material movements and returns.
- Collaborate with various operational teams to ensure effective material monitoring.
Remuneration, benefits, and culture
Your salary is determined by Business France. You will receive a housing allowance (rent + local tax) of up to £1,050 per month. Your travel expenses to start and end your contract (flights only) are covered, as are your VISA fees.

Who are we looking for?
Degree + selection criteria
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in data analysis, industrial engineering, information systems, project management, or an equivalent field.
- Minimum English level B2.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to develop and monitor KPIs, monitoring tools, and reporting.
- Rigor and attention to data quality.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with different stakeholders.
- Autonomy, curiosity, and a continuous improvement mindset.
