Join us and participate in the construction of the two next EPR/EPR2 (Evolutionary Power Reactor) nuclear power plants in Europe: Hinkley Point in England (Somerset) then Penly in France (Seine-Maritime). EDF offers you the opportunity to join the EPR2 project: you will put your skills and enthusiasm at the service of a major project for the energy future of France and the French nuclear industry: a construction program of 3 pairs of reactors on French territory.

Initially, you will join the Penly construction site and then you will be seconded to EDF Energy for a mission of approximately 1 year on the EPR construction site at Hinkley Point C, located in the Bristol region in England. At the end of this mission, you will reintegrate EDF to join the teams in charge of the Penly EPR2 construction site, in Seine Maritime.

Within the Penly Construction and Testing Direction, you will be attached to the Scheduling Planning and Coordination pole and will report directly to the Head of the pole.

Main mission:

Robustly analyze, establish, and update in the planning, all activity sequences of the sub-project to which it contributes. Communicate all milestones necessary for the execution of activities to the stakeholders.

As a Scheduling Technician, your main activities will be:

• Schedule the different construction and commissioning sequences before their proper integration into the planning
• Participate in consultations within the framework of calls for tender and analyze contracts delivered by suppliers
• Support the planner in the integration of the companies' execution sequences as well as preliminary activities into the detailed planning (level 3), and ensure their regular update for each work package.
• Ensure that interfaces and milestones with all internal and external contributors (engineering, procurement, construction, and regulatory-related professions) are identified in the planning
• Communicate the interfaces and milestones necessary for the execution of activities to all contributors
• Analyze activities located on the critical path of your scope (at a minimum) in order to identify the potential impact of delays, analyze variances, and propose mitigation and schedule recovery actions

Transversal activities:

• Participate in coordination meetings to gather the information necessary for the proper execution of assigned tasks.
• Take part in quantifying planning impacts in case of modifications to the contract scope
• Capitalize on and share the REX (Return of Experience)

These missions may evolve depending on the progress of the construction site preparation.

Diploma:

Scientific or technical training, BAC+2 or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years of experience on projects or in planning activities.

Base annual gross remuneration excluding bonuses: from 26K€ to 32K €, depending on diploma and professional experience.
