Join us at the headquarters of the Direction Qualité et Performance Industrielle to become a factory surveillance inspector.
Your interlocutors: companies globally recognized for their know-how in this matter, but also smaller structures specialized in cutting-edge technical fields.
Your role? To provide a technical and quality assessment of their activities and guarantee compliance with EDF's requirements. For your inspections, you are responsible from their planning until their finalization: preliminary exchanges with manufacturers, definition of the inspection program, on-site intervention in contact with the industrial tool, writing the inspection report in dedicated tools, and communicating conclusions to the manufacturer and our clients.
It should be noted that these surveillance actions must take place under adequate safety conditions, and you will be required to ensure compliance with the manufacturer's specific safety requirements (Prevention Plan, if applicable), as well as those set by the Direction Industrielle (including, among others, the wearing of Personal Protective Equipment).
You will follow an integration process with a 4-month immersion phase in the field and will be accompanied during your skill development.
Your experience in this position will open professional evolution opportunities toward other trades (surveillance of non-destructive testing, materials, chemistry, etc…).
You will be based in our offices in Saint Denis, 15 minutes from Saint Lazare.
Numerous travels are to be expected in France and internationally (3 to 4 days per week).
You hold a Bac +2/3 diploma specialized in the field of mechanics, materials, metallurgy, welding, or physical measurements.
IWT certification is appreciated.
You have significant experience of at least 5 years in an industrial environment related to materials (aerospace, automotive sectors).
A strong appetite for technology, a pronounced taste for field work, and a desire for discovery provided by very frequent travel are also required. It is not necessary to be an expert in this field.
Written and oral English required - B2 Level.
Gross annual remuneration according to profile (between 28K and 33K€ over 13 months) excluding bonuses related to job constraints.
