Ensuring the safety and performance of the nuclear fleet means first guaranteeing the quality of every industrial equipment installed in our plants.
To meet this challenge, EDF relies on an expert directorate of materials and manufacturing processes, mobilized to support suppliers, monitor manufacturing, resolve technical issues, and develop the processes of tomorrow.
In this context, the Direction Qualité Performance Industrielle (DQPI) is recruiting a Hardware Engineer to contribute to the industrial control of the most critical components.
Your mission? You are the guarantor of the control of manufacturing entrusted to our suppliers for the most critical components of a nuclear power plant.
Your objective? To ensure that every piece of equipment manufactured respects the technical, quality, and safety requirements of EDF.
How? By mobilizing your technical expertise, your sense of analysis, and your taste for solving complex problems.

Your daily life?
- Definition of technical manufacturing requirements, based on feedback from the fleet
- Technical analysis of supplier offers within the framework of calls for tender
- Drafting of surveillance offers and capitalization of the associated feedback
- Analysis and validation of manufacturing documents (plans, procedures, technical files)
- Occasional travel to factories (1 to 2 times/month) to observe processes and achieve technical convergence with on-site teams
- Participation in Task Forces on sensitive technical subjects (non-conformities, critical deviations)
- Technological monitoring and follow-up of innovative processes in the fields of materials and manufacturing
Your skill development will be ensured by apprenticeship within the group and by a tailored training program.
Your experience in this position will open professional evolution opportunities to you, towards other professions (monitoring of non-destructive testing, materials, chemistry, etc.)

- Engineer degree or Master's degree (bac+5) with skills in metallic materials
- Skills in welding
- IWE appreciation/knowledge of industrial processes (forging, foundry)
- Rigorous, curious, with a strong appetite for technical matters
- Significant experience in manufacturing, design, or instruction of technical issues
- Required English level: B2
Teleworking of 2.5 days/week maximum depending on the team project.

Gross annual remuneration according to experience (between 40k€ and 55 K€ over 13 months)
