Eden Brown Education is currently recruiting for an experienced Plumbing Technician to support a Further Education college in West Yorkshire

Your tasks

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled plumbing professional to utilise their practical industry experience within an educational workshop, supporting the delivery of plumbing courses and helping learners develop their practical skills.

• Prepare and set up plumbing workshops, tools and equipment for practical sessions.
• Maintain and organise plumbing equipment, materials and resources.
• Provide technical support to lecturers and tutors during practical training sessions.
• Assist learners with the safe use of tools and equipment where required.
• Ensure workshop areas are clean, safe and well maintained.
• Monitor equipment and report any faults, maintenance requirements or health and safety concerns.
• Ensure all workshop activities comply with relevant health and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience in plumbing, ideally within a commercial, industrial or educational setting.
• Good practical knowledge of plumbing tools, materials and equipment.
• Understanding of workshop health and safety requirements.
• The ability to support teaching staff and learners in a practical environment.
• A proactive, organised and reliable approach to work.

This role would suit a qualified plumber or an experienced plumbing professional looking to apply their industry knowledge within a Further Education environment.

This is a full time temporary role to start 2nd November for 3 weeks initially with potential to be extended.
