Product Analyst - Chassis: Steering System

Responsibilities and assignments
- Development of components related to the steering system (steering boxes, pumps, steering gear, steering column, etc.) and suspension (springs, shock absorbers, air bellows, tie rods, cabin suspension, etc.) intended for trucks and buses.
- Direct and constant contact with suppliers.
- Guidance of CAD and CAE teams during the creation of mathematical models and engineering drawings. Collaboration and monitoring of static and dynamic tests for component validation.
- Support in failure analysis.
- Release of components through the creation of technical documentation. Frequent interaction between different areas of the plant linked to the development and assembly of vehicles. Participation in technical forums linked to product development to present projects and solutions.
- Preparation of proposals and projects aiming at cost reduction in product production.
- Conducting the weekly technical forum. Responsible for requesting and controlling meeting points, organizing folders with the files of the documents to be presented. Organizing the agenda and meeting minutes.
- Support for other area planning activities.
Requirements and qualifications
- Degree completed in Mechanical/Production Engineering;
- Desirable to have knowledge in science and strength of materials, fatigue, vibrations, bolted, welded, and riveted joints, finite element analysis, functioning of vehicle systems, and vehicle component design;
- Advanced knowledge of Office Package (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI, etc.);
- Good communication for conducting technical meetings;
- English: Intermediate to advanced – essential for reading technical documentation, participating in global meetings, and interacting with international teams;
- On-site work in the Resende/RJ region;
- Remuneration compatible with the market and CLT employment regime.
