A Tender Architect Engineer is responsible for analyzing project requirements, preparing technical proposals, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and supporting the tendering process from pre-qualification to submission. The role combines architectural expertise with technical documentation, value engineering, and cost-awareness.

Job Summary The Tender Architect is responsible for reviewing tender requirements, analyzing architectural drawings and specifications, preparing technical tender documents, and supporting the tendering process from document review through final submission. The role requires strong architectural knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate and compliant tender submissions. Key Responsibilities

  1. Tendering & Pre-Contract Phase

Review tender documents, including architectural drawings, specifications, BOQs, and scope of work.

Analyze project requirements and identify missing information, discrepancies, and technical risks.

Prepare architectural inputs required for tender submissions.

Prepare and follow up on RFIs (Requests for Information) and technical clarifications.

Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits when required.

Ensure tender requirements are fully understood and addressed before submission.

  1. Architectural Tender Documentation

Review architectural drawings and specifications for compliance with project requirements.

Prepare technical proposals and architectural documentation for tender submissions.

Prepare compliance sheets and material/finishing schedules.

Develop preliminary architectural details and drawings when required for tender purposes.

Review quantities and architectural scope in coordination with the estimation team.

  1. Materials & Value Engineering

Review proposed architectural materials, finishes, and systems.

Suggest alternative materials or solutions that meet project requirements and specifications.

Support value engineering activities while maintaining the required quality and design standards.

Research and coordinate with suppliers for technical information and material data when required.

  1. Coordination

Coordinate with the Estimation/Commercial team to ensure architectural requirements are properly reflected in the tender.

Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors regarding technical information and material requirements.

Liaise with consultants and clients regarding architectural clarifications when required.

Ensure all architectural information is aligned before final submission.

  1. Tender Submission & Documentation

Compile and organize architectural documents required for tender submissions.

Ensure all documents comply with client/consultant requirements and submission deadlines.

Maintain organized records of tender documents, revisions, clarifications, and correspondence.

Support the preparation of the final tender package and ensure all architectural requirements are properly addressed.

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture Engineering.

  • 3–5 years of experience in:
  • Tendering
  • Technical office
  • Architectural coordination
  • Experience with contractors or subcontractors is preferred.
