Procurement Engineer – MEP

Job Summary We are looking for a Procurement Engineer – MEP to manage the procurement process for MEP materials, equipment, and services, ensuring the best combination of quality, cost, and delivery time while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers. Key Responsibilities Handle the procurement of MEP materials, equipment, and related products according to project requirements.

Review purchase requests, BOQs, specifications, and technical requirements.

Source and evaluate local and international suppliers for MEP products.

Request and compare quotations based on price, quality, specifications, payment terms, and delivery schedules.

Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery dates, and commercial conditions with suppliers.

Prepare and issue Purchase Orders and follow up on the procurement cycle until delivery.

Coordinate with Engineering, Projects, Technical Office, and Finance teams to ensure procurement requirements are clearly defined.

Ensure purchased materials comply with approved technical specifications and project requirements.

Follow up with suppliers regarding production, shipment, delivery, and required documentation.

Maintain an updated supplier database and develop new reliable suppliers.

Monitor market prices and availability of MEP materials and equipment.

Resolve purchasing and delivery issues with suppliers in coordination with the relevant departments.

Maintain proper procurement records, quotations, comparison sheets, purchase orders, and supplier documents.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

2–4 years of experience in MEP procurement or a related procurement role.

Good knowledge of MEP materials, equipment, and suppliers.

Ability to compare technical and commercial offers.
