Sales Assistant

Do you want to work with flowers and plants in a company that combines the community spirit of a small work community with the opportunities offered by a large group? Koroisten Puutarha, operating under Helle Oy, is looking for an engaged sales assistant for a permanent full-time position.

In this role, you will get to learn sales work steadily alongside your duties, build long-term customer relationships, and participate in product preparation and packaging as part of a close-knit work community.

The recruitment process is managed by Econia Oy, but the employee will be employed directly by Koroisten Puutarha.

Job Description

As a sales assistant, you will work in a versatile role that combines hands-on work with flowers and plants and the maintenance of customer relationships. Initially, the role focuses on basic work, and sales skills can be developed alongside the job with the support of more experienced colleagues.

Basic Work

Your daily tasks include:

• Participating in the cultivation of plant and flower products
• Packaging products and preparing shipments
• Ensuring the general smooth running of the warehouse and work environment
• Other assisting tasks related to production and deliveries

Sales and Customer Relationship Management

Alongside your other duties, you will also familiarize yourself with sales and account management. The sales work focuses on maintaining and developing existing customer relationships.

Your tasks include:

• Maintaining contact with current customers and managing customer relationships
• Identifying customer needs and providing service
• Smooth handling of orders and accounts
• Learning sales work and developing your own expertise
• Small-scale new customer acquisition

Work is performed in close cooperation with other staff and customers.

Employment Terms

The position is a permanent and full-time (40 h/week) role, performed 100% as on-site work at Koroisten Puutarha located in Turku. The position offers the opportunity for long-term employment and the development of your own expertise. In your employment, you will experience the community spirit of a small work community as well as the stability brought by a larger group.

The salary starts from 2,500 euros per month, and the final salary level is determined based on the selected person's expertise, experience, and suitability.

The job involves occasional travel both domestically and abroad. Annually, the role includes a few domestic trade fair trips and approximately 2–3 international business trips, so we hope for a readiness to travel as required by the job duties.

We consider the following as advantages:

• Vocational education in gardening, greenery, floristry, horticulture, or another plant-related field
• Previous experience working with plants, flowers, or garden products
• Experience in sales or customer service
