FIELD SERVICE & APPLICATION ENGINEER

As a Field Service & Application Engineer, you are responsible for the technical and chemical follow-up of water treatment installations at industrial customers. You combine service, maintenance, assembly, sampling, and technical advice. You build a long-term relationship with a fixed customer portfolio. After thorough training, you will work independently at customers' sites in your region and become an important technical point of contact for them.

Your tasks include, among others:

• Performing preventive maintenance, fault diagnoses, and repairs on water treatment installations.
• Supporting colleagues in complex or urgent interventions.
• Collaborating on the assembly, installation, and commissioning of water treatment installations on-site, in cooperation with the project team.
• Following up on water chemistry at customers at fixed moments by taking samples, performing analyses, and interpreting important parameters.
• Providing technical advice based on your findings and formulating recommendations to optimize water treatment, including corrosion control, scale and deposit prevention, and biocide treatment.
• Reporting activities and analysis results clearly and structuredly and keeping technical documentation up-to-date.
• Collaborating with various departments (backoffice, sales, etc.) to offer our customers optimal service.
• Building an in-depth knowledge of the technical environment and water treatment processes of your fixed customers.
• Acting as a technical point of contact and thinking along about the further optimization of the installations.
• Always taking safety and quality regulations into account.
• You possess a bachelor's degree in electromechanics, electricity, electronics, automation, chemistry, or a similar technical field, providing you with a strong technical foundation.
• Experience as a maintenance technician or service engineer is a great asset.
• Motivated starters are also welcome, provided you are willing to deepen your knowledge in both water treatment installations and water chemistry.
• You enjoy practical work and have a true hands-on mentality. You roll up your sleeves during maintenance, interventions, assembly, and the construction of installations on-site.
• Knowledge of water chemistry, for example regarding cooling towers, steam boilers, and closed circuits, is a plus.
• You have an analytical mindset and can translate analysis results into concrete technical recommendations.
• You enjoy working autonomously but with a team-oriented and collegial approach. You are solution-oriented, goal-oriented, and flexible.
• You are customer-oriented and feel comfortable in direct contact with technical interlocutors.
• French is your primary working language. You can express yourself professionally in English. Knowledge of Dutch is a bonus.
• You are willing to work on-site and have a valid driving license B.
• You are flexible regarding working hours and scheduling when interventions or customer appointments change.
