Data Engineer / (M/F)

Eccotechnologies accompanies its key accounts in the design and evolution of their Data and Cloud platforms. In this context, we are looking for a Data Engineer to work with one of our partners, a world leader in travel and tourism, in an international environment oriented towards Data, Cloud, Marketing, and Machine Learning. You will join a team in charge of developing a Data platform and a personalization service, allowing for the feeding of Machine Learning models with reliable and relevant data. The mission includes a strong dimension of design and development on GCP.

Missions

• Design and develop Data solutions on GCP.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines.
• Participate in the development of the Personalization Context Service.
• Work on data coming from Google Tag Manager.
• Work on Data Streaming topics with Kafka.
• Take charge of topics end-to-end, from analysis to production.
• Collaborate with technical and business teams in an international environment.
• Contribute to documentation and the sharing of best practices.

Skills sought

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Data Engineering.
• Solid experience on GCP.
• Mastery of BigQuery.
• Knowledge of Dataflow, Dataproc and/or Bigtable is appreciated.
• Mastery of Python and/or Java.
• Experience with Terraform and GitHub Actions.
• Good knowledge of Kafka / Data Streaming.
• Autonomy, proactivity, and the ability to manage complex topics end-to-end.
• Professional English is indispensable
