Role Description The Food Service Worker is a full-time, on-site role based in Sakumono. This role involves preparing and serving food and beverages according to established standards, ensuring proper portioning and presentation. The Food Service Worker will maintain a clean and safe work environment, follow food safety and hygiene procedures, and support inventory control by reporting shortages and assisting with stock rotation. Daily responsibilities include providing courteous customer service, handling basic point-of-sale transactions, collaborating with team members to meet service timelines, and assisting with opening and closing duties in the food service area.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Food Preparation and Food & Beverage handling. Candidates should possess proven abilities in Food Service and Customer Service. Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Food Safety practices and hygiene standards. Basic numeracy and cash-handling skills, with attention to accuracy and detail. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically active tasks safely. Strong teamwork, communication, and time-management skills. Prior experience in a cafeteria, restaurant, or hospitality environment is an advantage. High school diploma or equivalent; additional food safety certification is beneficial.
