Your tasks
In this newly created key role, you will actively help shape the operational management of our international corporate group. You will create transparency, develop standards, and ensure that data is turned into concrete decisions.
- Implementation of group-wide performance management with uniform KPIs, meaningful dashboards, and clear control mechanisms for our international companies
- Analysis of productivity, profitability, and cost-to-serve along our entire value chain to identify potential and initiate sustainable improvements
- Responsibility for group-wide investment management, including CAPEX planning, governance structures, as well as the evaluation of strategic investments and business cases
- Development of data-based decision bases for location, price, assortment, and format strategies within our Europe-wide network
- Management of operational budget, forecast, and medium-term planning with a focus on the central value drivers of EBITDA and cash flow
- Sparring partner for management, country organizations, and operations during performance reviews, profitability analyses, and strategic questions
- Support for integrations and value creation initiatives with the goal of realizing synergies and establishing successful best practices group-wide
Requirements
- Several years of experience in controlling, for example in operational, commercial, production, or business unit controlling
- Demonstrable success as a Finance Business Partner for senior stakeholders as well as in the optimization of cost, margin, or performance structures
- Experience in building KPI systems, reporting landscapes, and performance management processes in international or decentralized organizations
- Sound knowledge in investment evaluation, business case creation, and management of larger CAPEX budgets
- High affinity for numbers, strong analytical skills, and experience with ERP systems, ideally SAP, and modern BI tools
- Business-fluent English skills and a completed degree in the field of economics, finance, industrial engineering, or a comparable discipline
- Team-oriented, pragmatic, and entrepreneurial personality with the ambition to drive things forward and achieve success together
