AI Researcher - Relocation to Limassol, Cyprus

Looking to lead the technological frontier in a green and sun-drenched island? We are expanding and looking for an experienced AI Researcher to join our team in Limassol, Cyprus (including a full relocation package!).

Job Description:

In this role, you will be responsible for the research, training, and adaptation of Artificial Intelligence models and Large Language Models (LLMs) for the company's products. You will translate up-to-date research into practical solutions, perform model optimizations, and work closely with the Data and Product teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Model Research and Selection: Leading research to evaluate and select AI/LLMs models (commercial and open source) considering quality, cost, performance, and privacy.
• Training and Optimization: Fine-tuning, model compression (Quantization/Distillation), and adaptation of generative models (GenAI, RAG, Prompting).
• Testing and Metrics: Implementing metrics, Benchmarks, and risk assessment (Hallucinations, Latency, Safety, Bias).
• Integration and Documentation: Working jointly with engineering teams to deploy models into production, monitoring performance, and documenting research.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Engineering / Data Science / AI or another relevant field (Required).
• Master's degree/Ph.D. – Significant advantage.

Experience:

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in AI/ML model research and development.

Technological Proficiency:

• Proven experience in Python and practical work with Python Frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face.
• Areas of expertise: Rich experience in LLMs, Generative AI, NLP, or Computer Vision.
• Experience in model evaluation, RAG, working with GPUs, optimization, and MLOps.
• Very high level of English (writing and speaking), excellent analytical skills, and teamwork.
• Readiness to relocate to Limassol, Cyprus.
